Well he is teaching you so allow for the fact that he will know more than you do and is only trying to get you to remember what you have done wrong so you don't do it again. If he never said a word then where would you be - in hospital??

ask to change,my instructor was very patient, the one i had previous to her was a right pain in the jacksy, you cant learn whilst in fear he she is gonna lose there temper,my advice is swap instructors, learning is hard enough without putting up with extra crap like that. however that said, how long you been driving,if its for a few months with your instructor,he might be getting at you for making silly mistakes, and for your own good, this you dont state in your question.

Im a Driving Instructor and I have been doing this for 36 years. I proudly call myself a Professional NAG because I am determined to get it through young peoples' heads that driving is limited to the laws of physics, the limitations of the vehicle, the experience level and the attitude of the driver.
On the first lesson, I take them on a demo drive and I'm driving. I show them what is expected with regards to turns, parking, etc.
From that point, I am continually asking questions about situations and repeating information in several different ways so that I know that my student understands.
Whenever you learn something new (me too by the way), mistakes are expected as part of the learning process. Mistakes should be discussed and corrected in order to improve your driving. Operating any piece of machinery takes time and focus on the task at hand. It isn't just another subject at school. It's a life skill which you will use for the next 60 years or so.During that time, you will be carrying family members, friends and business associates. My aim is to raise the chances of you making it that far without crashing or losing your life Driving is serious business! Of course your Instructor should "get on to you" and correct any errors you make in order to help you become a skilled and confident driver.

cause they dont want u to mess up when ur out there by urself cause then if u mess up u will most likely be dead

driving instructors should teach you
what to do
why you need to do it
and how to do it
no need whatsoever to shout, be rude or disrespectful

if you are not happy change your instructor

You say it is sometimes, does this mean you instructor gets on to you when your actions are likely to cause DANGER to someone else. If this is the case, your instructor is only doing, what you have payed them to do. Don't take it personal, take on board what they are saying, and try not to make the same mistake again. IT MAY SAVE A LIFE.

Mine was very patient, the best driving instructor is a recommendation from your friends. chances of passing with a harsh instructor are minimal

yeah most of them are but if you think of it in another way the reason why he is hard on you is to tell you get it rong again and i wont be happy and you will be thinken i dont want another telling of and i will do it right all the time and try a lot harder . my hgv driveing instructor was very stricked on me and it got me through and i learnt alot of him . ask lots of questions and ask why are you doing it that way because it will help you and you will pass

all of them are like that if they come down hard on you ,it makes you remember the mistake you made a lot better ,if they just smiled and said that's alright don't do it again ,chances are you would make the same mistake, its their job to make you a good driver, and they use what ever means they see that are needed to make sure you understand and obey the rules and regulations of the road,i admit some are a little harder than others, but they don't want to see or hear about you being injured or possibly killed in an accident, this is all part of the learning process, and someday you,ll thank your instructor for being hard on you, something he seems to rude about right now may actually save your life someday, good luck and think of it like this,he,s only looking out for you and other people around you.
