Will i get a speeding ticket?

i was just driving home and was doing 35 in a 30 zone and got flashed by a camera on the other side of the road, there were no white distance lines on my side.

also would the camera have seen my reg plate seeing as it was dark and i had my headlights on, would my headlights have blurred the image?

in response to what someone said below there were cars on the side of the road the camera was on but they didn't appear to be going over the speed limit

Maybe. It depends on the system and if they will send you the ticket. Some states don't really count 5 over as speeding anyway.

I doubt you'll get a ticket for going on 35 mph on a 30 zone. I don't know about where you live, but whereI 'm from and it's okay to go up to 10 miles above the speed limit. Maybe that camera is for another car.

Those camera filmed speeding? I though they only film running a red light.

Well, you might but here is what is true.. You said that you were doing 35 in a 30 mph zone. It is lawful to go 5 miles above the speeding limit and not receive a ticket or a fine. Now I'm thinking also that the flash you saw may have flashed another vehicle. But if there were not other cars on the other side of the road, then you may get a ticket. Now if you do get a ticket, you can contest it in court. So what you must know is that it is legal to go 5 miles above the limit. Just take it court if you get the ticket and you will evade the speeding fine.

you will 30 in a 35 zone come on common sense. Damn but those cameras literally take crystal clear pics. When my sis got a ticket from a camera it took it really clear of everything, her in her car, the license plate, and just a pic of the car and they all came out clear.
