As a generality, yes.
Firstly there would be a lot less drivers on the road which would help to make the roads safer.
Secondly, in general terms men are better drivers than women. I know, I know, some women are good, some men are bad etc., etc., but the qualities and skills required for better driving are naturally more prominent in men.
It still would not solve the problem though, since the general standard of driving among men is appallingly low. |

old people are the worste drivers, one in front of me today was driving along doing about 20 mph in a 40, came to a roundabout and just kept going at the same speed, the silly old fool didn't even see a car coming to her right |

It's not a gender thing I don't think. The roads would be a lot safer if people didn't talk on their mobile phones when they drove (one of my biggest pet hates!) Although women can make silly mistakes on the roads, men are just plain idiots sometimes. Have you noticed aswell that BMW drivers are some of the worst in the entire world, regardless of gender? Get ready for a whole heap of thumbs down from all the BMW owners!!! Ha ha! |

No, sorry I don't agree with you when it comes to most women drivers.
Now if you're talking about teenage guys or very elderly people, I'm more than willing to agree. |

we would all probably agree that if you learned to spell agree
before you put someone else down we'd all be happier. |

No i wouldn't agree with you!
What makes you say that. |

Id love to agree, but the truth is if women were to stop driving there would be less scratches on cars as a result of womens inability to park properly. But if men were to stop there would be alot less horrific car accidents. |

wrong attitude,if people maintained there vehicles and paid attention while driving, had courtesy and patience then the roads would be safer.my wife is a professional truck driver and has driven more safe miles then you will even do |

yeah because than they wouldn't have to put up with men (assuming you are a man?) like you with bad attitudes.... lalalala just kidding..... I think there are good men drivers, bad men drivers, good woman drivers, bad woman drivers. teen drivers, good and bad, has nothing to do with gender. |

Err, how many girl racers do you know? Not half as many as there are boy racers who cause havok on the roads! |

you are so funny, ever heard of Diamond Insurance ??
They specialise in insuring women drivers & were significantly cheaper than anyone else when I was insuring my Boxster S by 300 quid at least ..... ie 900 vs everywhere else 1200 minimum
Got to confess though, I still can't park for love' nor money :) |

It would be safer if MEN stopped driving full stop. In my area 99% of accidents are caused by MEN. |

NO. |

The roads would be safer to some extent because the traffic would be decreased by about 75%, so yes, less traffic would effect less opportunity for accidents.
Ms Cryllie of course assumes that you did not intend to denigrate half the world's population, especially the half which includes the woman who gave birth to you.
Did you have a male spelling teacher, by the way?
raising an eyebrow at you,

No, I wouldn't. And I imagine you mean stopped (as in ceased) and not stoped, whatever that means. |

I still see lots of women using their cell phones, doing their hair and even applying make up as they drive along. I also see lots of kids not strapped in. I see boy racers, and I see old people who can hardly see over the wheel. I see the maniac lorry drivers on the motorway, and I see idiot cyclists without lights. I see lots of cars with only one headlight, and I see the white van drivers tearing around the towns to beat delivery times. I see loads of women in great big polluting 4x4s who cannot park and I see mad motorcyclists. Shall I go on? There are very few good drivers on the roads these days, male or female. |

As men are still responsibly for the majority of accidents i would have to disagree. I think irresponsible, careless and reckless drivers should be banned, then the roads would be a lot safer! |

No. more blokes i know failed their practical driving tests more times before passing than the women i know. and at work it tends to be blokes coming in having crashed their car into another car rather than women. |

Some men are worse than women so I don't think it would make any difference. |

dont be so stupid, thats a stupid question, and by the way i never heard of "girls racers before", and read the news!, it has been full of people getting killed on the road and as passengers and guess what? THEY WERE ALL MALE |

I think the only way to answer this one is with another question. How long have you been off your meds? |

No, you moron! First of all it's spelled *stopped* and secondly men's car insurance rates are higher. They have more accidents because they are so busy checking out women and trying to look cool. |
