Would it be better to get into a car accident at night or during the day?

consider less cares and less humiliation at night however it is dark out.

If I absolutely had to choose it would be daytime. The response time is usually faster and the Hospitals are fully staffed. Very few specialists work the graveyard shift. Which is why they probably call it that. You could die waiting for the proper Doctor to get to the Hospital. |

I wouldn't want to be in a car accident at anytime. But if I was I would probably prefer the daytime. If you get into an accident that's not your fault, you have nothing to be humiliated about. Just drive carefully and that will decreases your chances of being involved in an accident. |

It's never a good time, but as a first responder, I would rather work an accident during the day for my own safely. |

Crashes that happen after dark tend to be worse. Only about a quarter of all driving happens at night, but half of the fatal crashes happen at night. |

It's not "better" at any time.
But I see your point about the humiliation factor - especially if any of your friends happen by..... |

First, it's not like you have a CHOICE about when you get into a collision.
Second, "humiliation" won't be one of your primary concerns. Collisions tend to mean injuries and, since you don't get much choice about the severity of your injuries, either, then simple survivability should mean more to you than how embarrassed you migh feel. |

Its not a good idea to get in a car accident at any time period. I don't think you should be worried so much about humiliation. Being in an accident and your health is a lot more concerning than what people think. As long as you aren't at fault then you have nothing to worry about. Just drive safely and you will avoid accidents at either time period. |
