Would you normally roll through a stop sign if you can see there are no cars coming?

There's a stop sign close to where I leave in the county. When I approach that stop sign, I slow down and look and if there's nobody coming, I roll on through without stopping. If I come to a stop sign where I can't see the road and have to creep out, I do stop. I would never pull onto a road until I can see there's nobody coming.
So, what do you think? Do you make those so called "rolling stops"?

That's exactly what I'm asking, if you're in a habit of making rolling stops. I'm not really in the habit of doing it, but I do it sometimes if I'm in a hurry.

Yep, I do rolling stops at times. I know I shouldn't be doing it, but it's a habit. If I'm coming to a stop sign, I usually make a full stop. But if I come to an intersection, I have a clear view and see no cars, It just feels stupid making a full stop just to prevent a collision at a hair-raising speed of 3 mph with car that may or may not be there.
Rolling stops are nothing new in California (That's why rolling stops are also called "California stops"). Not saying it's a good thing, I'm just saying it's what many, many Californians do here. |

Nope I stop. I make sure I totally stop at a stop sign, maybe not for long enough by a cop's standard(only stop to make sure the car is stopped, not like any time), but I stop and go if there is no one there. |

if by rolling stop you mean roll to less than 5mph, yes i do those, only because i ride a bike and i dont feel like putting my feet down, and then having to launch again. I dont do fast rolls ever. |
