The question is for both a minor accident [a few scratches bumps and bruises not a big deal you can walk away from but of course being a pissed off person] and the worst accident [almost costing a persons life not to their death but having to deal with a drastic change become paralized for the rest of their life etc.]
Which side would you pick taking out the things that would happen to you in court. Of course that's something you'd want to avoid but my question is would you rather cause the accident without anything drastic happening to you? Better them then you type of thing.

Yes these are your only options! I understand you want to be taking precautions and avoid all these but it does happen and I was just wondering what you would do if you had to choose lol that's all no big deal. Okay, I know that's chicken.
I guess that in the greater scheme of all things, it is better to be the innocent victim, even if it means death or disfigurement than to be the cause of someone else's. There are worst things that can afflict the human spirit than broken bones and rent flesh.
Now, that being said, i will be sure to knock on wood because I want to be around to see who gets best answer to this doozy! |

Sounds harsh but i'd rather be the cause but saying that I've never had an accident either in car or on motorbike. |

I'd rather be the cause if it came right down to it. More time to prepare for the impact and hopefully retain control of the car after the initial hit.
I'll just accept the consequences in court later on. |

Are these the only choices - be either the hitter or the hittee? Sorry, but I'm not ready for that. The real problem with driving is that there absolutely NOTHING being done to prevent collisions - like before it happens. Over 90 pct of crashes are due to driver error. The roads can be fixed. Vehicles are routinely recalled to correct dangerous problems. But the driver is the problem and nothing is being done to address the issue. So I have to keep my head on straight and on a swivel to minimize the likelihood of hitting someone or being hit. |
