i had to go to hospital to get checked out
i had a cat scan - it showed up nothing wrong
i didnt need stitches at all
the doctor said that i need a bike helmet .
do you agree with the doctor?

I guess you haven't had a serious brain injury. I haven't ether but two of my step-sons have in one year. One is now recovering quite well (only been 2 years) and the other is permanently damaged (can't think properly, can't remember much etc.) Do you want to be like that? |

Yes you do need a helmet and yes I agree with the doctor because any head injury could be life changing, better safe than sorry..... |

If you ride any kind of a bike, motor or pedal you need a helmet. You were lucky this time. |

Whlie I agree with Bungee, in todays world there are more people, more wreckless ones too. Yes, wear the helmet! Head injuries are not a good time. Prevention is the key here. |

Yes, because the next bike wreck might be worse. You need to get helmet before your next wreck. You should have gotten one before this wreck. |

but just the same
if you go out on the bike
make sure you wear a helmet
because if you get in a serious accident
like this one and there is no helmet
you could fatal head injury |

doesn't it make you wonder how all us old gray hairs got throuh childhood without helmets, shin guards,elbo pads, safety glasses,steel toe shoes, sun block,cell phones, high school guards, fun police on every corner, mommy watching every move, falling down and actually skinning our knees. I could go on but you get the picture. todays young will never realize what they missed as a child. |

I'm assuming you mean bicycle? I don't agree with anyone that says you have to wear a dorky looking helmet to ride a bicycle! People look ridiculous wearing that little tear drop shaped looking thing. UGH! I'll take my chances not wearing one thank you very much! |
