I'm tired of poorly-written English because I have to work so hard to understand it. In order for us all to be able to live together, we have to depend on good communication. The person who writes poorly emphasizes his lack of interest in making a good connection with the reader. A mutual sense of interest and a desire to ensure the comfort of others to the same extent of yourself is the definition of community. Even monkeys do that. As human beings, the better we work together, the better our lives will be.
You clearly are able to write better but you choose not to. Why? You have difficulty reading poorly-written English, yet you turn around and do the same to others. What's up with that? Yahoo even gives you spell check, but you're what? too lazy to use it?
Finally, in answer to this question, there is a comma missing in the sentence after the word emergency, that would make it easier to read.
"the equipment must be connected to the power by way of a switch, which allows for disconnection under emergency, and a safety device, which can protect the equipment." The switch therefore, has nothing to do with the safety device. The equipment is connected to both a disconnection switch and a safety device. The disconnection switch and the safety device serve two different purposes and are both connected to the equipment, separately and independently. |
