Good grief, this seriously scares me that there are actually people out there with licenses asking questions like this.
Yes, you have to stop and wait until ALL the cars go through and the way is completely clear. If the other cars don't have a stop sign, why in the world are they supposed to stop??? |

If you have a stop sign and they don't, yes. You wait. You wait until the way is clear before you proceed.
If you are talking about making a turn, you let the person to your right go first assuming a 4 way stop, make sure you signal and go when the way is clear for you to make your turn. |

So the other traffic doesn't have a stop? Well then you have to wait for all of them, they have no reason to stop. If you have a long line behind you then someone may wave you through, but they don't have to. If the other side has a stop then you take turns. |

If you are the only one with a stop sign, you have to wait until ALL other cars have cleared the intersection. The other people approaching from other directions don't have a stop sign, they have no reason to stop. If you proceed and get hit, you are 100% liable and will get the ticket. Hope you have insurance. |
