mobile speed van on a moterway bridge?

i was travling a bit over the speed limit on the motorway and noticed the mobile speed van with the camera out the side window on the bridge going over the moterway. i was at 70 about 400-500 meters away from the van. will i be fine. what is the workin range of these speed guns

I take it you mean Motorway. Most forces operate the 10% + 2mph rule so 79mph or below you "should" be fine.
As for distance the cameras work . . . They are all laser now so in the real world if they can see you they have got you. |

Firstly, it depends on how far over the limit you where driving, sometimes they don't bother issuing a ticket if its only 5mph over the limit.
They do have a good range on them not sure of the exact distance, but they wait til you are up close for a more accurate reading plus to get the shot of the plate. |
