will they let me on the via with a fake rifle?

i am in color guard and i need to bring a rifle on the via do you think they will let me on with it or will they take it as a hazard?

contact via, just think what will happen when you take it on because someone on yahoo said you could, and when they slap the cuffs on you what are you going to say to the swat team, " but but sir I was told on yahoo answers that I could" they'll lock you up and throw away the key.

When I was in military school they let our people travel with that stuff if needed. But then again, that has been a long time. Best thing to do is ask someone at the desk if you need to fill out a form and declare it as a weapon. If you do, it isn't a hassle really, just ensures they monitor where it is. On the plus side, they won't lose your luggage :D
