OK, I'm going on a limb and thinking maybe you need 30 responses for some sort of paper or project. The problem with this is that you can't just ask people what they think! You need to poll people who have actually adopted (or at least those who know others who have adopted) to get their actually ages and the actual number of children they adopt.
Otherwise, it's all just speculation (no better than if you just guessed at it yourself, except you're asking others to guess as well) and you can't claim finding any sort of relationship.
Not trying to be difficult here, just suggesting that if this is your goal, you post another question with something like "If you've adopted a child can you please answer these 2 questions for me?" sort of thing. :)
Good luck! |

I can take this one!
Most parents who adopt are in their mid to late thirties.
Most families adopt an average of two children, 2 - 3 years apart. |

1. C, a large percentage of people who adopt are people that want kids but are unable to have them.
2. B, Amount of Children varies I'm going to pick 2 because that sounds about right
3. A, People tend to want a baby so they don't feel like they have missed out on those precious first years |

l really don't know any of these, but l'll guess;
Q1) C, because most people who adopt have probably experienced infertility, and/or have to get the financial resources together to adopt.
Q2) B? lt just seems that most people would prefer not to have an only child, and a lot of people adopt siblings.
Q3) Probably B, because it's a longer wait for a newborn, and most people are reluctant to wait for a child over 9. Most people would prefer babies though, l think. |

1. c - I think many adoptions come from older parents who have trouble with fertility
2. a- I would go with one because adopting a child is so much work. Possibly more work than having your own naturally!
3. a - most families want a young child to grow up with them. |

Here are my answers:
1) c - I was nearly 32 when I got married and then went through infertility treatment until after I was 34.
2) a - just a guess. I would have adopted more than one child if my marriage had stayed together. As much as I'd love to have another child, I don't think I could handle two children on my own.
3) a - I think "most" families want to adopt infants, but lots of people adopt older children. My son was 2-1/2 when we brought him home. |

In my family it is c. and a. Can't speak for national averages, but both my daughters have adopted and they are over 28. My parents adopted my brother when they were around 30, so c. and a. again. |

this is stats on an adoption through the goverment not a privite one.
1. 28 and older because people generally try to have kids first, then there is a long waiting list
2. familys can adopt more then one child but one is the norm due to the time and money it takes.
3. most people adopt newborns and infants... everyone wants a baby and babys come with less problems ( less likly to have trama from leaving their parants and less time to have been abused.) |

well most people want a baby so they can raise it "as their own". most foster kids that come to my home are about 7 and up. its true that not many couples want older children for the fact that they tend to act out more or are harder to get to know.
hope this helps |
