My sister was kill in my country (DR) 3 years ago and I'm trying to adopted my 11 years old nephew. But in my country there are a lot of rules I think that more than anywhere, well one of the rules is that I have to have 5 years of marriage, a lot a paperwork and a lot of money to pay a dominican lawyer. Do anybody know anything about adoption?

Here is the US State Department's information on adopting from DR. All apologies if you don't live in the US.
There are likely rules for adopting family members. You and your sister would probably have to contact the adoption authority in-country. |
