Anyone see Troy the locator last night?

They showed an episode of a brother and mother that where searching for the son she relinquished back in 1968 when she was 20 yrs, old and messing around with a married man. The bio brother seemed more curious about meeting than the birth mother. And when he asked her questions about his father and their relationship and why she did what she did, she seemed very vague and unresponsive. She almost had no remorse as looking through my eyes. That was scary and I would hope my birth mother would be a little bit more thrilled to see that I turn out ok. What's your take on it?

I didn't see the show, but based on your description it sounds like she needs more time to adjust to the situation. She may not be ready to go back to what was a very traumatic episode in her life.

I hope the son will give her time to work on her unresolved issues. She will likely open up and share more over time.

I agree with the previous answer but also..
Just because shes your mother doesn't mean you love that person automatically
love comes from spending time with each other and growing as a mother/child or w/e the case is.
It would be just a little better than seeing a friend after 20 years i suppose.
