Are there financial benefits for adoptees in Florida after the age of 18?

My girlfriend was wondering if there are any grants, benefits or financial help for adoptees ready to live on their own since she just turned 18. I've tried googling for info but it seems that all the information is for people looking to adopt not really much information for adult adoptees.

Why would there be special benefits for adoptees? You have parents. There are benefits for foster children who reach 18, but they don't have parents (that's the whole point). |

I would guess they get the same benefits as a bio child would. They are no longer foster children once they are legally adopted so in the eyes of the law, they have legal parents. She'd have to get a job just like any other 18 year old. |

yes there is, she could get a job. she is just like any other child who was raised with their parents. She is not part of the foster care system. time to grow up and get out of fantasy land. |
