Are these Juno actresses for real?
|
Okay, so one is the actress and I think one is the producer and this is supposed to be their take on adoption. Do you think they're for real or were just promoting the movie? I hope it's the latter but in any case, this was so... ugh, I don't even know how to describe it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ocb_HXSTuNY Additional Details "Which part was so offensive?"
the movie - "if I could just have the thing and give it to you right now, i would, but I'm guessing it probably looks like a sea-monkey right now..."
The actual people - treating adoption like it's some kind of big joke, even if it is just to promote the movie, which, btw, looks...well, I can't describe it but I definitely won't be watching it...ever.

H H mama to 2 beautiful girls!

personally, maybe i missed something, but i saw nothing wrong with it, they were promoting a movie....which part was so offensive?
EDIT: well i call my baby it, and will untill i know what im having. (ex: the baby has ITS arm over ITS face). and two good job judging something you never saw. it doesnt act as if it is a joke, she in that scene is trying to make light of a difficult situation. and did you ever see knocked up, that movie made all kinds of jokes about pregnancy too and no one got offened by that. everyone on here tells teens, that ask what should i do?, give the baby up....thery make a movie about how a teen girl got pregnant and decided the best choice for her wasto give it up and you all flip out! come on people its a MOVIE. its as offensive as any other movie you take wrong way. people are too sensitive about little things. |

Sick, calling a baby "it" and "thing"
What if a woman was talking about abortion and said "I can't wait to get rid of 'it"
The same people who say Juno's treatment of an unborn baby is funny and cute would be mortified if the same was said while waiting for an abortion. |

Movie promotion. I don't think it was an unscripted event. I still don't like what was said as it still gives a message I disagree with, but I think this had more to do with movie promotion than a genuine discussion. |

Did you notice how many times they used the word "IT" to describe a human being? I'd go back and count, but I've got to puke now. |

I wouldn't expect anything differently from anyone who had anything to do with Juno. After all it was Juno and the whole thing is sick.
And Suzy S/Suzy Sunshine or whatever your aliases are... no wonder you love it, it would be right up your alley. Its people like you that give adoption a bad name in the first place so good work for contributing to the way adoption is today and why people like me will do whatever it takes to see it shut down. |

Just promoting the movie. The script was written by an ex-stripper who has never had a child let alone given one up for adoption. Had she actually given a baby away, I am sure that the movie would be quite different. Actually, had she written about the realities of giving a baby away to strangers, the movie never would have been made. Too much of a downer. America still thinks adoption is all happy-clappy. Sigh - it is frustrating to be a progressive thinker in a country stuck in medieval times. |

It looked like it was their way of promoting the movie.
If they were for real about that then wow... |

In real life when people love the baby inside of them and understand that it is a person... they usually don't put it up for adoption
this is just a movie! a comedy, and in a way it shows that some people aren't mature enough to raise there children but there are people out there who can't have them and deserve a chance to be parents.... |

There are so many different forms of adoption now. Where the real mother can still have rights to see the child. It was played up in the movie a bit, but not too far fetched. |
