i have 2 brothers and i really want my mom and dad to adopt a little girl. i know it's a HUGE change and we wont be able to do as much because she's litttle. but who cares if we couldnt eventually she'd grow up and we just went on a bunch of trips and we wouldn't because the econmy's goin down.plus it would help this girl a lot by giving her a home. and with my brother i cant give them advice on guys or take them shopping for clothes or anything like that. i want this more then anything!!!!!!!!!! so plaeseeeee can anybody help me or just give me some tips on how to convince my parents to let us adopt a little girl. but please dont say that i shouldnt because this sia big deal cuz i know it is and i juat want this SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much!!! i want to scream i want this so much (sorry)

You should not convince your parents to adopt. Maybe you could babysit or be a big sister through the big brother/big sister program. |

Why don't you become an adopted big sister through the Big Sisters/Big Brothers program. There are programs where young kids need so much help, and where little girls who might not have a mother where they would love to have advice on this stuff. Perhaps if you show that you're truly committed to this, through a long period of time, then your parents might adopt.
Remember, little sisters and brothers aren't just for going shopping for clothes, and for talking about guys. They have needs for food, clothing, dirty diapers, they'll take up time in the bathroom, and they'll take up your parents time, where your time will have to be split. Adopting is a 24/7 committment, not a doll to bring home. |

Sit down with your parents, and tell them what you told us but it would your parents decisions because yeah it would be fun to play with this little girl and take her shopping but, your parents have to provide for her, and it takes a lot of money to raise a child, but don't presure your parents to much because THEY want to want this child, after all it would be there child. |

wait r u talking about a little girls u already know? well if thats the case, u should probably talk to your mom first and talk about how u really love her as a sister and want wats best for her and u think u would be a good role model during these hard times. If your parents don't let u, visit the girl alot and show that u care. |
