Can someone give me a name of a reputable adoption attorney in the Pittsburgh,PA area?

My husband and I are trying to decide whether or not to go with an agency or through a private party adoption attorney to try to adopt a child. Now, before I say anything more, I would like to tell everybody who wants to give their nasty opinions to just stop right here and click the back button on your browser. I posted a question the other day and received many nasty replies and I reported those people. My mother was a foster child and you don't know my family story so don't judge me and say adoption is wrong. To all of you nice people who had to read that, I deeply apologize. I received some very nasty replies last week and cried for hours.

Anyway, all positive responses are welcome and appreciated. Thanks for reading!

I think its wonderful that you're apathetic to your mother being a foster child. I wish many more people looking into adoption could be. It would inspire me to look in the direction of foster care as well.
Good luck.

Read up on Bethany Notaro.. She handles alot of family law.. I live in the Pittsburgh area and have used her to mediate a visitation agreement. Good Luck!

I'm not sure how close she is to Pittsburgh, but Denise Bierly is an awesome adoption attorney. We did not work with her but she did the intake paperwork on two situations we were presented with.
