Can someone with this situation adopt?

My husband has suffered from epileptic seizures since he was 13. Because of this, he made the decision early on not to drive and he has never had a driver's license.

Do you think that we can adopt?

I'd imagine It depends on your financial situation more than anything else..
if money wise he can provide a child with good education, good care in upbringing etc etc then his fits aren't going to affect a child, especially if there's always someone when these fits happen EG: you or a nurse..

The only person who can really answer this is a qualified social worker or adoption agency specialist.

Go ask them about your "close" adoption, it really doesn't matter what we say, does it Winterlieder?

I don't know if it is legal for him to adopt on his own since he has some health problems, but since you don't have health problems, I don't see why it wouldn't be legal for you to adopt. I wish you the absolute best...I too want to adopt...I've been married ten years and I think it's time to stop the ivf and adopt. It's hard not having a child you desperately want...especially during Christmas season.
