If you know a child is being abused I do hope you have already made the call to child protective services--the most important thing is the safety of the child.
If the parent(s) want to relinquish their rights and allow you to adopt or provide guardianship that can be arranged privately.
If you know of a specific child in foster care you can ask to be considered as a resource for adoption If/when that takes place. |

There is no way to do that. If there was people would just shop for the child they wanted, make an accusation against the parents and then petition to adopt.
If you are concerned for the welfare of this child you have a moral obligation (and in some areas a legal obligation) to report it to DSS. What they choose to do or are able to do from there will have to be seen. If the decision is made to remove the child from the home and eventually place him/her for adoption then you would go on the list like anyone else would, assuming that there was no family member suited as well. |

You would have to report the parents to CPS. The kids would have to be removed,and then the state would decide what to do,unless you say you want to adopt. Don't adopt just because their parents were abusive,adopt because you care for them and want to give them a permanent home. |

The first and most important thing for you to do is to contact CPS to protect these children from further abuse other wish you will have it on your conscious if anything further happens to the children. |

No. Unfortunately CPS/the state has to get involved. They have to determine if in fact the child is being abused, if so charges need to be bvrought up against the abusive parent and they'll remove the child/children to a foster home until things get figured out. They have to make sure the child doesn't have any living relatives that can take him, if not then the child would be "put up for adoption" if the parents have been deemed unfit. |

You can not adopt someone who is not freed for adoption. If the parents are abusive you need to call CPS. |
