Coincidences resolved and/or explained by reunion?

Coincidences resolved and/or explained by reunion?

Have you ever experienced something that seemed random and unrelated until you entered into reunion and gained new knowledge about yourself?

Others who are not adoptees: Can you believe that such a phenomenon actually exists?

Yes, this often happens, and sort of gets explained as Adoption Synchronicity. My lost son and my oldest raised son were stationed on the same Navy base together for 2 years. They both kept being told about "some guy" who looked/sounded/acted just like him.

I have a peculiar mannerism that I do with my thumb when nervous. When my son and I were together I looked across the room at him and he was doing the same thing. I saw the light of recognition go off in his eyes at the same time.

I married my first husband on the same day, 2 years later, that my son was born. I had forgotten (like the good little bmommy I was) what the date was and met him on a blind date and married him 2 weeks later because he was leaving for overseas. Totally accidental? Synchronicity? Who knows?

Is it coincidence or sychronicity?

My daughter lost to adoption, was married on the same day as I. I don't have any other family, friends or acquaintances (that I know of) that married on that same day of the same month. Of all the 365 days of a year..how did we manage to pick the same day of the same month? My daughter and I knew nothing of each other for 34 years. I would marry 1 1/2 years after her surrender.

I am not adopted, but experienced something very similar. I grew up on the Gulf Coast while my father lived in NY, so I rarely saw him. He moved to New Orleans when I was 15 and I began spending a good bit of time with him. In the home I grew up in, my mother and my brother were like two peas in a pod. My mother also greatly disliked me and allowed boyfriends to abuse me and abandoned me places, so I always felt unwanted. I was also very different from my mother and brother and felt further alienated. When I got to know my father, I noticed we had a lot of the same mannerism, the same sense of humor and other things. It made me feel good to finally fit in with someone. So, yea, I know it exists.

Coincidences between birth relatives and myself yes........
coincidences resolved or explained? what does that mean??

I think this phenomenon does exist but doesn't really have to do with a certain trigger. It can be a reunion, or another random thing between close friends
