No, it's illegal to pay a woman for her children. If you're talking about unethical practice of pre-birth matching, then yes, sometimes her medical and other bills will be paid by the PAP's (or the agency, who will then charge the PAP's for the costs, with mark-up). I wouldn't recommend using this route because it's coercive to the mother, who could then feel as though she's obligated to part with her baby because she "owes" something. |

I am not clear what you are asking here? Are you a mother who is considering surrender or a PAP who wants to know the costs? |

When my husband and I adopted the birth moms of our 2 children, got some housing assistance and some medical bills. A birth mother does not get paid to place their child, if they do it is illegal. |

You can get financial assistance, just as if you would qualify for medicaid or welfare. If you work with an adoption agency, you may also get birth mother expenses such as housing paid if you are unable to work due to pregnancy. Some adoptive parents will pay the agency to cover these expenses but the money goes to pay the bill, not directly to you.
If you need recommendations of a good agency that will help you but won't cost the adoptive parents an arm and a leg, I would be happy to refer you.
Best of luck getting the help you need. |

I gave my child up for adoption and the family who adopted paid for all medical expenses and any counsling i needed. The birth cost was around 9,000 without insurance but im sure with insurance it was much lower, but they ahd to pay all of it. And for all my medicines i needed. |
