Only if they are good parents, the same with straight couples. You find too many terrible parents trying to adopt. |

I do, as long as they are suitable to adopt. It's the same with any straight couple. It doesn't matter as long as they love and care for the child. |

Until a bigoted Catholic convinces me that it's better for a child to grow up in care than with 1 or 2 loving adults then I'll always agree that gay people should be allowed to adopt |

Jessica
|
Yes I agree with it |
|

tanika971
 |
no reason why not, they are as good as straight people |
|

Katie

Absolutely. If people are prepared to go through the adoption process then they have obviously thought long and hard about bringing a child up, and would be more likely to actually want the child and be able to provide for it. |
|

LemonHAZEE ;)
 |
of course. as long as they are capable of looking after a child then why not |

of course they should be allowed. so many kids in care need a loving home. gay people are human beings first off and if they can give a child a good start in live then they should be allowed to.
i can't believe they're even arguing about it. |

Yes i do.
That way, children grow up being more tolerant towards other people, thus the world would actually be just a little bit better. Gay people all around the world should be allowed to get married and adopt as easy as straight people can. Why is it that a straight couple that doesnt love each other can marry, but a gay couple can't? Or a straight couple are allowed to have children and adopt and end up being dreadful parents but a gay couple who could be wonderful parents arent? Its extremely unfair and illogical. |

Religion and politics do not have a place in adoption/fostering.
Each Pap should be evaluated individually.
The childs best interest should be the priority. |

Me

Absolutely!!! You can't convince me those children would be better off in an unstable foster care situation. |

Sure. If they qualify like anyone else (other then any specific "anti-gay" rules) I have no problem with it. While I may not particularly understand or agree with their lifestyle it's their business only and I don't think it impacts on their ability to parent. |

the only bad thing about it is the child might be made fun of. which is horrible becqause nobody should make fun of someone for that |
|

Yes they should adopt as they can provide both good and bad homes just like straight parents and single ones. BUT no marriage, separate issue. Bottom line is, would you rather see a child be raised in a trashy orphanage or given to a loving gay couple? |
|

Rowan
|
i don't see why not. They are human after all. |

As long as they can fulfill all the requirements as anybody else, why not? |

I think that its ok along as they will be good parents. |

yes |

crazychickizback

of course they should! What they like to do in the bedroom doesn't affect their parenting skills one iota. All mentally sound, financially secure people have the right to adopt |
|

No, I don't because I believe children need a balanced upbringing with male and female input. |

Acelya

No not at all. What example would they be to that child? |
