I had a pool and a pony (actually 3 horses) when I grew up, but I also had several black eyes and nights I cried myself to sleep...
guess, my teen-aged parents ended up doing pretty good even if they did split up once I left home since I really was the only reason they were forced together and pretended it was all good just for me!
Now I have another father and another mother who ignore the fact I am much a part of anything...and no place to go to remember how wonderful it really was my mommy and daddy pretended good enough to give me pools and pony's!
I don't have a pool or a pony now--it just reminds me of my childhood, But I do live in MY family Now and give my children the things I didn't have--like being wanted.
....and the TD's can begin! |

Growing up with my adoptive parents I had 5 pony's, several dogs, cats, squirrels, raccoons, a pet lamb, pet fox and many other animals. Now I help my nephew train show horses and go to the shows with my sister-in-law where she shows her horses that I helped train. Used to have a pool till my husband & I moved, now we have a pond and 2 dogs and a cat. I'm here because I can be. Why are you here? |

Sadly, no. I'm just here playing the part of the pooless, ponyless, bitter adoptee. |

I've never had either but God I wish I had a pool right now. My airconditioner doesn't even work! :-( |

I have a pool membership automatically because of where I work, but I don't really use it. Obviously I don't own the pool.
I had a horse and took riding lessons when I was in high school, and it was awesome. I'd love to get into equestrian stuff again as an adult, but we'll see. We live in the city, so it's not very convenient for farm animals. |

Ha ha, I'm an adoptee but I didn't have a pool or a pony growing up. My adoptive parents ripped me off. all they had to offer was love safety security a good home morals values and good parenting.
I like your question. |

The pool is closed for winter, and we got smart, and bought one of those electric ponies for inside, rather than one that requires care 24/7 outside. I do have a child to care for inside, which I'd much rather be doing than taking care of ponies and horses outside, The electric pony doesn't mess up the yard, doesn' eat anything except a little bit of electricity, and it doesn't bite. |

Mule and swimming hole...does that count?? |

I almost got a mini pony at a Christmas party.
And we considered getting a pool, but ended up getting a hot tub for when winter comes. ;) |

Does three dogs and a cat count and the only pool we have is when the garden is water logged due to so much rain. Where are the smilies when you need them.
I'm here because I'm a first mum, I'm reunited with my son who lives with us and I'm a pap so why ARE you here? |

I didn't growing up with my a parents. We did have a slip and slide that we made from a plastic tarp, until my brother cracked his head open on a telephone pole at the bottom of the hill in our front yard.
No pony, either. I did ride a Merry Go Round outside of a KMart once.
My N Mom has an in-ground pool. And a pool boy. Yum. |

Just a plastic wading pool for the dog and my oldest son has a very used Mustang that my adoptee may inherit some day (If it is still running). |

Adoptee here. I had a pool and a horse growing up, my a-sis had a pony.
That was nice, but in the long run unimportant. What is imporatant is that we had loving a-parents who did whatever they could for us. Now I'm in reunion with my bio-mom, too. So far, so good! |

We have a 12' X 3' quick set pool we go snorkeling for treasure in during the three months of the year when it's warm enough. Does that count?

No pony. No pool. I guess I was selfish by keeping my kids. I should have given them away so they could "have a better life". |

No pool. My APs are afraid I will lose my floaties and drown.
No pony. My APs are afraid I will fall off and I don't want to wear a helmet.
I do have Play-Doh however. My APs told me to mold a first mom. I told them they got it mixed up and made them cry. |
