When we were researching international adoption we found that most African adoptions were about $15,000- $20,000 total. Also there is an $11,000 federal tax credit for adoptive families, so that helps a lot. |

I really depends on what you're going for. Adoptions can result from a high amountage or to a decent amountage. Try Googling some sites and checking out the system. I bet you'll find tons of things on what you want specifically. And other than that, you can call a couple of them up to ask some questions. |

We looked into this ourselves a while back. Although I can't remember the exact amount, the least expensive place we found was Americans for African Adoption. They have a nice website and I believe were the first agency in Ethiopia. There is a nice piece on them by Diana Sawyer. They operate in Ethiopia and Liberia. Good luck. |
