Doing a paper on adoption vs. abortion?

any facts about eather adoption or abortion would help sooooo much! :)

how many kids go into adoptive or foster homes and get abused there? How do the kids fare once they are in the system? What is the situation of the woman who is considering abortion? You are better off doing research elsewhere, you won't get a good answer here, most people see that word up there and it just starts a fire under their butt.

Maybe your paper should be about adoption vs. parenting. Here's why:

I had an abortion when I was 21. Carrying the fetus to term wasn't an option I felt was feasible for me. I knew I didn't want to parent yet and I couldn't imagine carrying a baby for nine months only to surrender it to someone else once it was born.

Abortion and adoption are not opposites. PARENTING and adoption are.

These are completely TWO different topics.

Why do people always think these two things belong together? I don't get it.

Can't you see, that the correct comparisons are:
A) Abortion versus Giving Birth
B) Adoption versus Parenting your bio-child

Nope, but if you research for yourself, you are sure to find something.

P.S. Adoption and abortion are unrelated. Why you ask? Search... and you shall find.

Whoa
I can tell you after a science / debate project I had to do on the topic of abortion that IT IS NOT TECHNICALLY MURDER.
People who are against abortion say it murders innocent children. I would understand that angle if it were true. The fact is that abortions are onl legal in the first trimester or first 3 months of the pregnancy. There is a reason for this.
The first three months = zygotic stage
Months four through six = embyronic stage
The final three months = fetal stage

The process during the zygotic stage only builds up tissues and the basic form of a future child. It does not meet the requirements of having a life at this point because it is really only a mere tissue extension of the mothers body. It cannot survive on its own.
The zygote cannot think, feel, hear, see, smell, taste, move on its own, make noise, etc. Bones, organs, and everything else develop in the embryonic stage.

I'm not going into anymore detail. Do your own research.

You're not going to get a rational answer here. Better to do your own research.

It would make more sense to a paper on the pros and cons of adoption, abortion and parenting. Two out of three doesn't balance it out.

Personally I am pro life and parenting but was coerced into surrendering which was the worst option for me.

My sister wanted to parent her child but was forced to have an abortion.

I know women who have had abortion some regret it others don't.

See a pattern here? You need to look at all three options and this is the worst place to do your research as the decent people who respond often get knowcked for their honest opinions/experience and are accused of being whiners

Abortion is the decision to not carry a pregnancy to term. When it is not chosen and pregnancy goes to term you have 2 possible outcomes -- adoption or deciding to parent. A decision to continue a pregnancy when it is unplanned doesn't lead to adoption by default. A better debate is abortion vs. carrying to term (regardless of outcome) or adoption vs. parenting.
