Even if the rights were terminated?
Find answers to your legal question.

Even if the rights were terminated?

If the fathers rights were terminated through the father regestery do i still have a chance to overturn cause he didn't sign?

Randy B
No, there is no chance. The registry and the way they were terminated are legal and that is why the registry exists in the first place.

Besides, YOU cannot go after things because of someone else's rights. YOUR rights were not violated. That would be something for the other person to complain about, even though they wouldn't get very far in this case either.

LMAO! You are about to be evicted and can't even come up with a measly $500 but you are trying to find a loophole to get your child back? Oh wow. Are you aware that even if you could use this as a line of defence (you can't btw) your legal fees would be WAY more than you could ever afford?

Seriously now, get off the puter and haul your butt to Mc Donalds for a job.

If his rights are terminated, they are terminated. Boy, you'll go to any length to spite the adoptive parents of your child, huh?

I Love A Child With Autism!!!
HELLO...you are in the wrong here. You made the choice to give your child up, and now because the family won't continue to support you, you think that you can take the child back. Get it through your head...it's not going to happen. Keep it up...you'll end up in jail for the illegal actions you are taking!

no, once they are terminated, they're terminated.

You will not overturn the adoption. Quit asking

No. The father of the child may have a slight chance, but you can't contest the adoption based upon -his- rights.

You already said that the adoption was legal.
You already said that you threatened the APs with taking the child back if they didn't give you $500.

Time to hang it up already. You had my sympathy right up until you started using your child for blackmail. You're giving first parents a bad name.

There's a very slight chance he could, if he wanted to, if he had been trying to assert his rights, but it's unlikely.

There's no way you could.

If the rights were terminated they were terminated. Whether he willing gave up his rights or his rights were terminated because he wasn’t on the putative father resister. They are still terminated. Again unless your reclaim period has not expired then there is no chance that an overturn of your natural child’s adoption will happen. It would not look good for the child’s adoptive parents to inform the courts that you were trying to blackmail them.

Plus the father’s rights are his rights they are not yours and have nothing to do with the rights you gave up. If you look at the baby Jessica/Anna case it was her biological father who consented the adoption and went after custody of her and eventually won custody of her because he had never given up his rights. Her biological mother had given up her rights and legally. In fact its not to far fetched to think that her biological mother probably only informed the father because she knew he’d have a shot at getting Jessica/Anna back.

So it possible that the biolgoical father could try and overturn the adoption but in that case it would be the father who would get custody. That said its unlikely to happen because the putative father registers are set up so that if the father does not sign up by a certain amount of time (typical about a month) after the baby is born then his rights are automatically terminated.

R
you don't he may. He can try and may have a chance a very small chance but your chance is all gone

Doodlestuff
You don't have the right to overturn, but he may particularly if he wasn't a resident of the state with the registry.

Father's registries are unconstitutional and should be eliminated (and will be when various cases reach the Supreme Court. They benefit NOBODY but the adoptive parents.

This is still legal. Believe me adoption agencies and adoption lawyers know how to do the adoption LEGALLY so no one can come back and overturn it.

Independ"ant"
Talk to an attorney about the verbal financial agreement they made with you......its not legal and could cause big problems for them if the attorney wants to play ball.
