my siblings and i were separated in a custody battle about 13 years ago my brothers went to foster homes and were adopted but given back after a few years. I have know idea where to start looking for them everyone wants money money money. they were adopted out of cleveland but my family was told they went to akron/canton area which count would i have to talk to?

First off, if you haven't done so already, you should register at ISSR in the chance anyone is searching for you. You can find the ISRR website FAQs at the link below, as well as download the forms to register.

Ohio has a state reunion registry, although there is very little information about it online. You can see their brief writeup here:

Ohio is a difficult state. There are a few Yahoo Ohio search groups but they don't appear to be very active. A good group that is nationwide is Soaring Angels, you could give them a try:

And there's also Adoption Network Cleveland, although they do charge money :(

As far as which court to talk to, you definitely want the court where the adoption took place, which would be Cleveland
