I foster several families in Guatemala and its more rewarding then taking their children away. When I work and visit them in Guatemala, its like a second home and yes they are good cooks. I suggest more people do it. Nothing feels better than keeping a loving family together. |

People would rather adopt a child/infant because they want someone they can feel is their own. The point of adoption is not to just have a kid to call your own but to gain that emotional bond that can only be created from a child. You can't gain that from a 30 year old with a family of their own. =P
Granted I'm sure most parents who have adopted wish at times they had adopted someone like you have suggested. |
