My caseworker told the Children there would be money for them to go to college since they were foster children after the age of 16 who do i need to talk to because one is already a junior and need to use that $ because she wants to get a masters degree in elementary teaching and the younger one is a freshman who wants to be a doctor which will be even more.the caseworker quit and now i cant get a hold of anyone!

Here is a link. Many states do offer tuition assistance for foster kids who were adopted after age 16 but usually only for a primary degree. GRad school would be up to them or family to pay.

There are a handful of states that provide instate tuition for foster children. I don't know which states these are, but ANY caseworker in your state should be able to tell you if your children qualify and how to apply. There have also been changes to the FAFSA for teens in foster care...adopted or not....the link below tells you more about that.
