Frustrated with perspective of adoption, should I just stop reading YA?

Hey guys, I've learned so much from all of you on the different perspectives of adoption, and how it affects all the involved, thanks! I go to YA in Spanish and omg, I'm soooo frustrated and angry with the stuff that goes on there:
"I'd like to adopt, if you can't have your baby send me an email"
"I have a kid and would like a brother for him"
"I am afraid I won't love the adopted kid"
I try to give my 2 cents saying adoption is about the kid, but nobody gets me guys, the culture is so different and I just get thumbs down. Ok, question coming :o) Should I stop reading YA Adoption in Spanish all together to avoid frustration, what do you guys think?
PS I read it in Spanish because I'm Mexican living in Mexico.

I know there are questions like that here too, but you are MANY answering with similar perspectives.. I'm alone there.

If it's making you truly unhappy, it's not worth torturing yourself over. You shouldn't sacrifice your emotional health for strangers on the internet.

But it does sound like your voice is really needed there, and if you can stomach it, I do think people would benefit from hearing a different perspective. You may be doing a lot of good that you don't even know about.

You must not read here often. We get moronic questions like that on a daily basis. I dont want to stop reading and answering because I have actually gotten through to a few people.

Take a break if you need to but no, your voice sounds like its needed. Stick around if you can. Wish i could help but i took french not spanish *shrugs* I don't know WHAT i was thinking.

LOL about troll... he always has the same answer as well... can't have many brain cells therefore cannot offer anything relevant to the questions...

Anyway, I feel that about coming in here at times. Just take a break and go back when you feel you are strong enough to handle it.

Why don't you do a little of both?

If you are looking for more serious Q & A, the English Q &A gets stupid and dramatic frequently, but there are serious, thought provoking questions from time to time that might help you learn and grow.

But if you stay on the Spanish forum you can help be a voice of change even if you are outnumbered. Just stay strong!

your opinion is a good one and people need to hear it. It is all about the children and when I am financially able to I am going to adopt. I already have 2 kids but I want a BIG family to love. We need more people out there that think this way.

Yea you should stop reading it, only to keep yourself from getting stressed out.

If it wasn't causing you stress, i'd tell you running away from things you don't like and pretending they don't exist isn't good. Doing things like that make people extremely narrow minded.

personally i feel that every person has a different view. i think on the whole adoption is a good thing. i know there are some people who disagree, soem of them have personal stories and experience on which they base their opinion,

reading this board has made me aware of a lot of feelings and pitfalls that i woulnd't be aware of otherwise. but it hasnt' put me off. i still want to do it
