Generally, what are the ages of children available for fostering?

I live in Penn.

they come in all ages

We were given a 4 day old and I know that they go all the way up to 18. In our area there seems to be a larger concentration of 5-7 year olds but certainly all ages are represented.

There are all ages available, but the highest concentration is from 7 - teens. Sadly, people just want babies a lot of times =/ There's a lot of older kids on the foster care merry-go-round and who just get passed over while the babies and toddlers without problems get scooped up.

They range from birth to teens. However we were told that getting a young child (below age 5) would likely be a long wait. It would be less if we were willing to accept a sibling group, since there is a priority to keep siblings together. The wait would be even less for a child over 5.
