Symir was five years old when he was taken from me for good. Me and my son was if foster care but when i turn 18 they told me that he was not going to leave the system with me.(go to another program/or go home) They told me that i didn't have a job or a place to stay so he wasn't able to go with me.His birth day is september 11 1998 he is now ten years old. A few months after my last visit with him they terminated my rights.(a week before his fifth birthday)I haven't heard anything for him,don't know if he is dead or alive. Im not allowed to see him or talk to him.They tell me that there is nothing that i can do now its to late. I miss him so much. He don't even know that he has two brothers and a little sister. I do know that he is in caln township that's around coatesville pa. i need help can any one help me? they did change his name from Symir De-shawn Jones to Symir Rollin(not sure of new middle name or spelling of last name)

If I'm reading this correctly, you were a ward of the state. When you aged out from foster care, they then took your son away from you because you had no resources? This is horrible, I'm so sorry. I'm thinking you need legal advice here because of the five years time frame.

If he has been legally adopted there may be nothing you can do, but I'd strongly suggest at least speaking with an experienced lawyer. You must miss him so much. I'm so sorry. I'm hoping more regulars to this section with information on foster care and CPS can offer a better answer than I can. |
