Help! How would I locate scottish orphanages?!?

I am unable to concieve and due to genetics will miscarry any child I may miraculously concieve. My husband and I are very interested in adoption, have the financial means to do so, and have thought long and hard about where we would like to adopt a child from and have decided to look into scottish orphanages. We would love to adopt from scotland because of family history and other personal reasons. The problem is that I have been unable to locate a website or place that helps adopt children from scotland. Please help connect me to a website or place that can help my husband and I adopt.

Yes, I know they are many places here that offer adoptions. But my question regards scottish orphanages, not domestic ones. Please only respond to / about the scottish orphanages because I am very aware of the orphanges here (I have done research all over and am curious as to scottish orphanages)

I don;t think that Scotland does international adoptions. Why not adopt domestically? There are many, many kids right here who need homes and parents and love. |

Scotland is a developed country and does not have orphanages! You might have family history in Scotland but doesn't sound you know much about it.
Here in the UK it is next to impossible to find babies or young children to adopt. There are only older children in small homes or foster care, often with behavioural problems.
If you want to find orphanages you need to loook at less developed countries. Try China and Romania or African counties. |
