Well you know if you had another boy you could just hand it over to one of these other people on here begging for babies, adoption is so wonderful, you'd be giving a gift.

Or doesn't it work like that? It's only wonderful when you GET a kid?

Here's a thought... go to your local humane society and adopt a homeless pet. They can bring you just as much love and fulfillment.

why would you adopt a child JUST beacuse you want a girl
what are you going to say to that adopted child... "oh i adopted you because i wanted a girl but i didnt want to bother getting my self preg. because i could have just had another boy" thats horrable please do NOT adopt a baby just for that reason, how would you like it your self if you were adopted just because your mother wanted a girl

my mother when she adopted me didnt even know if i was to be a girl or a boy

adoptions not a easy thing on the child or the parents please do not adopt a baby just beacuse you want a girl....

i don't know and i as an adoptee i don't really like the way you asked that question but... I greatly appreciate the fact you are trying to adopt from this country. thank you so much. nobody wants to adopt us. we cost too much.i got lucky i guess. they through me to the first person they saw before i got a price tag. doesn't mean i'm happy but i got a place to stay.

In my opinion it is strange to specify gender. Most adoptive parents want a baby to love regardless of gender. I have heard of adoptive parents wanting a girl and being successfully matched. You just may have to wait a little longer. There are lots of beautiful babies and children that need a home here in America - so it is a wonderful thing to do.

Maybe you don't realize that the way you wrote your question seems a bit insensitive. But I am sure you are not taking this lightly - you are already a mom and know the commitment and immense love a child brings- call an adoption agency and get started.
