How can i find someone with little information.?

Im looking for my father. My mother refuses to tell me much inforation.
I have a first name -Doug
I also know that he lived in fort worth texas in 1986 when i was born.

This is about all i know. But im willing to pay whatever i have to pay and spend the time to find him. Help

Texas has a birth index. If you look he was named at the time of your birth you should be able to look up your birth on the index and may find his surname there.

If your father was aware of your exact date of birth he may have registered his own search. Try searching and registering with the numerous reunion sites, eg.

Try to glean as much information as you can about him. It is your right to know who your father is.

First, is he on the birth certificate? were they married? If yes to any part, then you can look him up yourself. If they were married, then it's a matter of getting to the records and getting his last name. The same said for the birth certificate.

is there any aunts or uncles you can ask. you need a last name. if you can get me a last name and around his age, probably around the same age as your mothers. I can help if you would like me to. i found a mother for a Friend,and a dod for someone, that took like 6 months to do but i finally did it. do you know where you were adopted through like the agency or lawyer. I know the agency I went though upkeeps all information on both parents. So try them. & If you find out anything else I might be able to help you Im kinda good at finding people online
