How do I go about finding an adoption Search Angel in Florida? Please help?

Hi, I am just looking to find a search angel to help my girlfriend find her birth mother. She had a closed adoption, so I've already read her parents description and non-identifying information. There are some nights when I have to hold my girlfriend because she'll just start crying. When I ask what's wrong, she says she just wishes she knew who her mother was. At first I didn't think it bothered her that much, but now, as I put myself in her shoes, I feel so bad and am willing to do anything to help her find her mother. It's already too late to find her father since he's passed on, but I'd at least like to give her the gift of knowing who her birth mother was. The worst part is, her mother tryed to get her back, and lost the case. You'd think that you'd put your information up for your daughter to find you once she grew up even though you lost the case...maybe she just didn't know she could change that. In any case, I'm looking for a Search Angel in Florida... can anyone help?

You did not mention her age but you can tell your girlfriend to go to www.adultadoptees.org
There are many great people there who might be able to steer her in a direction or help her with a search. |
