How do people feel about Asian mothers adopting Caucasian babies and raising them the Asian way?

To me if the parent or parents are loving and raise the children in a good home without abuse or neglect then what should it matter what race the children or parents are? I think it is great to have the mix of cultures that we do in the world today and it makes the world a more interesting place to live. There is nothing wrong with Asian's adopting what ever race baby they want and raising it with Asian customs.

I don't see it as any more or less of an issue than any other form of trans-racial or trans-cultural adoption. The adoptive parents will still need to help their child develop a healthy sense of personal and cultural identity, and an appreciation of their heritage. There still needs to be unconditional love, acceptance, and emotional support of the child by the parents. The specific races of the participants do not change that.

wtf? Its the same thing as white adopting asian kids and raising them the american way.

I think that would be great. Give american/ or caucasian children the opportunity to be raised in another culture.
However, the only reason that people adopt from foreign countries would be to get infants. Infants that we believe are unwanted.
In the US infants are scarce. But we have plenty of teens that need good homes and I think it would be great if China adopted some of our teen girls to grow up to be chinese in culture and possibly marry a chinese male.

I do not agree with any International adoptions.

International adoption is very difficult to do ethically. Most people involved in it don't seem to care as long as they get their kid. Most people also don't know that the US exports plenty of adoptable kids to other countries because our own citizens find them too ill, old, or otherwise "undesirable" to bother with.

How entertaining it is to encounter a question like this and watch people fall over themselves insisting that culture doesn't matter as long as somebody gets to raise a baby. If culture and national origins didn't matter, we wouldn't bother giving our countries different names.

I like think adoption is like wrrong. But it makes no different cause whites are adopting lots of babies
