My feelings about being adopted have changed many times throughout my life.
I just wish someone else had told me that that was OK - and I am allowed to feel whatever I like.

So - I'm telling you that also.
You don't have to feel like everyone else.
I find writing really helpful - I have a blog. Writing - and reading other blogs - and talking with other adoptees - have all been very healing for me. No other people can understand as well as those that have experienced what it feels to be adopted.

Here's a link to a whole heap of adoptee blogs -

Drop me a line if you ever need to chat.

I'm not sure what you are asking?
Are you asking how we feel about twins?
How we feel about adopting twins?
????
Regardless of what we feel, it's what you feel inside. If you are feeling insecure for any reason, talk with your parents about it first. If you still feel terribly insecure perhaps counceling would be a path to take.

It depends on the day, and even the moment.

But I definitly encourage you to feel what you feel- not what you think you should feel or what other people shove down your throat that you should feel.

Are We Human Or Are We Dancer?
ok when i was younger, my parents lost their rights so i got adopted by my grandparents. Next, my step bro. and sisters have been adopted by my grandparents as well (same mother different dad. ) i feel ok. but its crazy when people ask why dont we live w/ our mom and dad.

we adopted our son at birth...he's only 4, but i can't imagine having a stronger bond with any child. we love him more than it seems possible! we are fortunate to have family and friends that are adopted or adopted themselves so he is surrounded by others who he can relate to. adoption is the best thing we ever did!

I think adoption is the most awsome thing ever and you should feel soo loved. Someone loved you enough to make sure that you had a better life, and someone else loved you enough to give that to you.

I think adoption is wonderful. My husband's step-brother and his wife adopted 2 Korean girls a few years apart. The oldest one was in a Russian orphange and near death. The other they adopted directly from Korea. Those girl's lives were changed for the better by adoption. My Ex-brother in law was adopted also. His real mom could not provide for him so she did the best thing for him.
