I adopted my only child, a boy. I am pro-choice. No one but me gets to say what happens with my body.
BTW, just so you know, adoption and abortion are unrelated. When a woman becomes pregnant, she has to choose whether or not to carry the pregnancy to term. If she chooses not to, she has an abortion. If she carries to term, she then decides whether or not to parent her child. Just letting you know. Think about it. |

We've adopted two, one internationally and one domestically through foster care. We've also had one of our own.
As to our views of pro-life or pro-choice, I don't normally discuss that so put me down which ever way you want. |

No adoptions, however I had temporary guardianship of one of my daughter's high school friends when her parents were going through a rough time. She reunited with her parents.

My parents adopted 4 children, myself, my half sister and my two older brothers. When we were older they were the legal gaurdians of two of my friends. Because of my parents and everything they gave to adopt (they could have kids of their own but chose to adopt) us my husband and I plan on adopting a child of our own (if I get my way it will be 2). |

I am a mom of many types. I am the adoptive mom of 1 beautiful boy, the bio mom of 1 very handsome young man, the step mom to a wonderful young man, the unofficial mom to about 30 kids who fondly come through my house (usually to the fridge), and call me mom. I'm in the process of trying to adopt again, and am attending foster parenting courses.
I'd like to do an adoption of a sibling group of 3 more, either through foster care adoption, or to someone who wanted to place their children who would otherwise end up in foster care (or if a woman was dying, to make the transition less invasive than foster care-I never want anyone to die, but it happens). |
