Per child the cost will be between ten thousand and twenty thousand USD (not including travel expenses). The average cost of adopting from china is $15000.

I have adopted from China twice. All in all, I would figure the fees paid were around $23,000 total, give or take, for each adoption. The agency fees were about $3500-4000, $1500 for the homestudy, the I-171H fee was $500 to file, and $70 per adult for fingerprinting, about $400 for authenticating the papers, the orphanage "donation" was $3000, $1500 for paperwork in china, $4000 for plane tickets from Houston to China, $1000 for hotels, $1000 for touring Beijing, and various other things like visas, photos, taxis, meals and laundry in china, obtaining the paperwork for the homestudy, etc.
Just out of curiousity, since you mentioned wanting "baby girls", have you done any research on the timeline for china adoptions? Currently they are taking 24 months per adoption after the dossier is logged in in China and the wait is expected to continue to grow. You must wait a year in between adoptions also. So, with a 3 year wait per child, plus one year in between, for 5 adoptions, thats about 20 years until you have adopted all 5 children, unless of course the timelines change somewhere in that 20 years.
Of course I always also recommend you research other issues such as ethics, corruption in adoption, adoptee feelings, first parents, transracial concerns, etc too along with the cost and timelines.

You're not going to be able to adopt all 5 at once. The Chinese government will not allow it. You have to get on waiting lists and I doubt they will allow you to adopt 5 total.

I've heard it can cost anywhere from 15,000 to 50,000 dollars per adoption. It is a lengthy and emotional process. Chose your adoption agency wisely. An unscrupulous agency might adopt out a child with severe, unreported problems in health/emotional wellness.

Depends on what Agency you use. The most reputable Agency here in IL has a cost of 28000 for China. Keep in mind that is not the cost "each" time you adpopt. SInce that cost includes Home Study costs (which you dont need each time) the price changes. Good Luck

I really do not have any idea of the cost. I do know a couple that had to take three trips to China and back to get the Chinese to approve the adoption. Then it took almost a year for the US to grant entry visas. It is a lot of work and for them it was worth it.

I do have a question for you. With what you have why not adopt 5 American children. I am not condemning you for adopting the Chinese children. I am proud that you are willing to be helpful outside your circle. I guess I am just curious.

Why don't you adopt from the US. There are just as many kids here that need homes too! I understand if you want to adopt from China but if you are planning on adopting 5 children maybe 2 from the US? Our country needs help too.

why don't you stay here and adopt some children in foster care who don't have any parents? yes, there will be transracial issues.
