Can they be adopted from birth, and can they be breastfed first then put up for adoption, coz i know its not good to go without breastfeeding.

They can be adopted at all ages. My first adopted daughter was at 8 months old and she had been in an Indian orphanage all that time before coming to us. Our last adoption was 4 days old when we checked her out of the hospital and brought her home. Neither was breast fed and they suffered no long term effects.
As to the more general nature of your question, they can be adopted at any age from still wet newborn to teenager and older. |

I was adopted at three months old...I wasn't breastfed and I turned out okay. I mean, at least I know enough to know that you can adopt til a kid turns 18...That's not too shabby huh? |

Really any age. I was adopted twice: 5 months and 10 years.
They were by the same people though, i wouldn't call the 2nd one adoption though, but it's complicated. |

Any age but most Paps try to get healthy babies.
When Paps are able to adopt fresh from the womb they don't want the childs mother to breastfeed due to the bonding. They don't want her to change her mind and keep her child. |

Unfortunately, yes, they can be separated from their mother at birth. And yes, it is not good to go without their mother, from whom they emerge expecting her to be there for him/her.
Puppies and Kittens have to stay with their Momma for at least 6-8 weeks before they can be separated.
It's such a shame we don't but the same value on a baby's wellbeing |

Children are adopted at birth and sadly it is true they must exist without the milk of life. However that is a better solution then being raised with nutrients but not the love you need, don't you think? |
