I'm 15 and I've known since I was pretty much born that I was. My adopted mother told me and I know quite a bit about my birth family. Is there anyway that I can find out who they are without waiting until I'm 18 or 21? I know where I was born and my mom had my adoption attorney's phone number. I live in Florida, I don't know if that will help or not but I'm really curious. I'd love to give back to my birth mother. What she has done for me is the most amazing blessing in my lifetime. She gave me up so I'd live a better life. Honestly, I'm not resentful and the reason I want to meet her, is so she can know that she gave birth to someone who is an accomplishment. Someone, who appreciates everything she has done.

I think you should ask your adoptive mother for help, and let her know what your reason is for finding out who she is, i'm pretty sure she will help you find her. Good luck! |

I almost cried reading that. That is awesome. Im glad that you feel that way. I think if your adopted parents would get together with you and go talk to someone in that town that has something to do with the adoption agency where you came from then you can probably find your birth parents and get ahold of them. Let your parents know. They can help you out with information. It might be that you can't access information without them anyway.
Be honest with them too. Tell them exactly what you typed in your question. They sound like great people!
