I Want To Be Adopted!!!??? Any Help?

I love my parents more then anything in this world, but I can't live with them anymore! We fight Everyday! they don't understand me and nor do i with them! I just want to get out of this house, but i have no clue how, or where to begin? I am 16, a sophomore in high school, I have average grades. I live in Monroe County, Michigan. Please, if you are looking or know anyone who would be interested, please email me at D_wizzle22@hotmail.com

Thank you so much!

You're 16 - you can't put yourself up for adoption. At this age - alot of teens don't understand their parents, it's pretty normal.

you could try to get emancipated. However, you ARE 16. Most parents and 16 year olds dont get each other. When i was 16 my mother and i went a full 2 months without speaking a word to each other. For most of that year we barely spoke and when we did it was mostly fighting. Its just the nature of things. You arent the first, you wont be the last.

danielle im sorry i would but nobody cant because u are a minor noone cant adopt u only if ur parents put u up for adoption if they dont its called kipnaped or run away minor girl relax and stay with ur parents unless ur abused or beaten ur not going anywhere. this is a phase for u! once ur 18 u can leave anywhere and do ur life without ur parents but until then just talk things out with a friend. i been there and done that dont worry u'll be okay.

You are pretty much stuck. In order to be adopted your parents have to agree to it so just ride it out for a couple more years and carry on once you are 18.

Everyone wants to leave home at one point or another. No one has that "perfect" relationship with their parents, and it's just something you are going to have to deal with. It is actually good for you to learn how to deal with adversity, because you will come across all kinds of problems in the future, and you can't keep running away from them. Maybe your parents are going through a really tough time right now, why don't you talk to them? Maybe they are having financial troubles, like many people are. Why not talk to them? Just say, "Hey, mom and dad, what's going on? Should I be worried? Do you need to talk? " Believe me, it's really scary being a parent sometimes, and we don't always know how to deal with things the way we should.

Your parents have to agree, I'm sorry. Maybe talk to them and see how things go from there. But you can't put yourself up for adoption.

Be very careful there are a lot of good people on the internet at the same time predators probably come here too. You are giving out a lot of information about yourself that is probably not a good idea. If things are truely that bad you should call family and children services and get yourself a social worker. Let her know whatever it is that is going on she will help you. Do keep in mind though a lot of teens go through a time where they don't understand their parents and vice versa. Most of the time this is something that passes with time. Leaving your parents might end up being something you regret in the future. So give it a lot of thought. How was life before you became a teen. Were things good. If they were I would bet things will be good again once you are a little older. Good luck sweety.

Love,
Michelle
