I was born 2/28/89 in MN i was put up for adoption acouple months later through a small agency. the adoption was closed meaning that i never found out WHO my mom was o only know slim infomation about her such as her birthdate, likes/dislikes and appearance i know those sites but with my case they have very little help also no "joke" answers like talk shows or private investigators and if you dont have anything useful to say then dont post please

There is no name it's just ***** where the name should be and like i said it's a closed adoption meaning it's not possible to go search out the person in record time

Is it possible for you to find out the names of people who worked at the agency or hospital at that time? Then I would try and get information from them. I would also have my wallet with me. If you know her age, do you know what city she lived in? Check the schools and see if you can find her in the yearbooks. Or just start trying to call people that are listed in the yearbooks. Start with the men. Their names don't change.

I found a MN data base that you can register on https://www.quickbase.com/db/7c2gsmqv?a=q&qid=75, I wish you well in your search. If you haven't already asked your parents about the day you came to them ask, maybe they have little momentos or baby blanket from the hospital, id bracelet, maybe they can remember the social worker they worked with. |

Well i think you should find the hospital that your were born in and get the birth certificate and then you might have the mothers name and the fathers name on the certificate. Then you should go to the police station and ask if the can find the name you have in their database. Hope you find her. Good Luck! |

Your best bet is to register with your state and hopefully she has too. If she wants to meet you I'm sure she will at some point but there might have been a reason she had a closed adoption (however open ones weren't common back in those days so she might not have known about them) Either way the best way to meet without being invasive is through the registries |
