I was thinking...surrogate question?

Origianally I was thinking of pursueding a cousin I don't really get along with all that well to donate an egg, but if it's a really hard process she probably wont. I'm really close to another cousin, she's like a little sister to me, and I'm 99.9% sure she would help me. I know she wouldnt try to pull anything either. My question is this- would it make it awkward or hard to stay close if my mom carried the baby made from her egg and I adopted it? I wouldn't ask her to do anything that would make it hard to stay close. I wouldnt ask anyways for another 7 years at least, but trying to get my bases covered ahead of time :)

I originally wanted to ask the other cousin because she looks much more like me

-after this, make sure to start a saving account for this kid's therapy. wow, this is too much.

Yikes, you aren't listening to what people are telling you, are you. Yes, it would make it awkward and hard for you to stay close to your cousin. Plus, you know, the baby might not look as much like you, lol.

hey crazy....have you thought about getting some counseling.

There is to much "me me me" in your questions and not enough concern about how your desperate act is this going to affect everyone else.

Embrace your infertility...there are more important things going on in this crazy world to obsess about.

Don't worry yourself with all this now.

When you grow up you will gain some common sense.

Why is it so important for this kid to look like you?

Most people see surrogacy as unethical. Creating a baby to be given away has life long implications for the child. You should really do some more research on the topic. In many states it is illigal because of the ethical debate.
One idea is to "adopt" an embryo (look up snowflake adoption) that is already created but not being used. That way you are not creating someone new and its not in your familiy. Personally, outside of the family is better.
