Autumn has nailed it - the amount of ponies in an adoptee's life is the essential ingredient - regardless of the parentage.
And a pool.
All adoptees need a pool.
Pool = better life.

A person who went through adoption themself would probably understand an adoptee better than anyone.

Depends how much kool-aid they keep in the fridge.

thats a very black and white kind of way of looking at it.

A person can undestand more than anything the life of an adoptee or foster child but the trauma that person has already gone through may never allow them to lead an easy life (not unhappy just complicated and painful at times). However, I would say that it is much more benificial for children to be adopted by other adoptees because they know first hand what it is like.

You can explain and give examples until they come out your ears to adoptive parents and even though their heart is in it they will never quite understand what it is like. Some adoptive parents are excellent, but will still not fully understand. I think a lot of the problem with adoption is feeling alone and not being able to talk about it with someone who really understands and having a parent or parents that can give examples from their own life could really help adoptees cope.

I am sure they would certainly develop coping skills and be supported in their greiving a lot more effectively.

Depends. Are there cheerios involved?

?
Did the adoptee adopt the adoptee from foster care?

I am one of those adoptees that have adopted 2 children who are now 16 and almost 20 and I can tell you it was because I'm adopted myself, I think my children have a better understanding of it. My daughter is a happier than my son, but that does not make my son said that he was adopted. All children, biological or otherwise can be happy or sad. If I had not had a happy childhood, I am not sure I would have adopted though, but because I did, it was not even a question, when my husband I wanted a child.

IDK!!

I'd be happy once I could help get that kid back to his mother.
