If someone who is not adopted can't possibly?

know what its like to be adopteed, why do so many adoptees believe in primal wound? why didnt her kid write about it instead?
Additional Details
nice try,. an m.a. in clinical psychology and being an adoptive mother still doesn't make her an adoptee.

Um, it could be that some people who are not adopted are capable of experiencing empathy and feeling sympathy for the pain of others.

Or it could be that the Primal Wound is real because we all have experienced it.

Nancy Verrier is an adoptive mom who "gets" it.

Interesting question... but, I am not qualified to vote. Even though I have right before my eyes Two Biological Children and Two Adopted Children with a sibling bond... All Four of my kids are different--and all four of them are Who They are.

I would love to read the books they write someday and hope they write the same story I do?

Maybe her daughter does not have an M.A. in Clinical Psychology. Maybe she isn't a writer.

I think it's awesome she wrote it. Nancy Verrier had an adopted child, and a bio child, so the differences were right in front of her face.

Primal Wound is my bible, in addition to "Lost and Found".

Nancy Verrier irritates the life out of me but quite a bit of what she writes make sense to me and it has helped me to understand my son better. I haven't read Primal Wound so basing my answer on Coming Home to Self. She knows her stuff as an adoptive parent who has raised a child and adopted child so has seen for herself. Nancy Verrier isn't so well qualified to write about natural mothers as she isn't one and that is the area she annoys me which was confirmed even more when I saw her give a talk about 18 months ago.

I have 3 kids, one adopted and two biological. One of my bio sons is not on speaking terms with me while a get along great with the other two.
Guess what? People have problems and adoption is a very easy thing to point at as the cause.
