Favorite troll question on here?
:)
Well, with the issues in this section I though this question was fitting.
:) Additional Details Jennifer: Ha, that's a good one. I don't remember that one though...

A few months ago when JustaMan/JustaWoman/JustaGorilla was trolling he/she/it asked a question about how to adopt a good looking kid because she/it/he didn't want "no ugly" peeps in the family.
That was my favorite so far! |

I figured that it had to be a troll question, but the one who claimed to be a first mother who had threatened the adoptive parents with taking her baby back if they didn't give her $500 was pretty good.
ETA: It might have gotten deleted. But there was a series of questions asking about whether it was possible to have an adoption overturned. First it was about missing the baby and everyone gave their sympathy. Then it was mentioned that the adoptive parents didn't fulfill their promises and had cut off contact. More sympathy.
Then the posters said that they cut off contact because she threatened to take back the child because they wouldn't give her $500 to pay off some bills. After that was one or two questions about wondering why everyone was all of a sudden angry with her.
Like I said, pretty well think it was a troll. The entire thing was too scripted. Like, how far can I go before the sympathy dries up. |

That question that Jennifer mentioned was one of the best in a while I think. Well, that series of questions since there seemed to be more then one of them. It did bring up an interesting point though...troll question or not. It did show how people view the questions asked even though they don't know the full story. It showed how someone could ask a question in their own favour and have the answers slanted to support their point of view regardless of how their point of view may be faulty.
Any mother who comes on here claiming they were coerced and how they were wronged and now wants their baby back. Based upon what THEY tell us they get all the support and sympathy they can handle. At the same time though, we don't know the full story so is that support and sympathy really helpful and are they really worthy of it? Some must think so or they wouldn't continue to hold these people up as shining examples of how the system is flawed. I'm not saying it isn't flawed, only that when you rely upon internet sources to base your argument, you are not basing your argument on a very sound foundation in my opinion. |
