while you're are writing your bill, be sure to include that criminalizing abortion will not make it stop. it'll just make it unsafe. also, it's a bit presumptous to assume that an unwanted/unplanned pregnancy means the child will be abused.
ps. doesn't anyone do their own homework anymore? i swear, this is about the nth person who wants us to give information for a school project. |

I would say adoption, but there are ways to abuse a baby while pregnant. So in a severe case I would have to say abortion.
In a perfect world, every pregnancy would be treasured and wanted. :( |

This is really a stupid question because no parents know they are going to abuse their children before they are born. I would say if you abort so that you don't abuse your child you have issues that are way deeper than pregnancy!! |

Neither. In a prosperous, civilized culture such as in the USA, it is better to provide all families with the basic economic support (a living minimum wage, decent housing, and health care) that they need to build healthy and happy families. Unplanned does not mean unwanted. Exploitation by the rich means that working families cannot afford to have babies. |

What an unpleasant question! I don't know. Neither is wonderful, is it? I will say that I am glad that my children were born because although they had a hard start before going into foster care, they are going to rise above that and have a really awesome future. I can't imagine saying that I wish they were dead. But I know that some adoptees wish they were aborted. I don't judge them because I am not in their situation. |

If someone is pregnant and in an abusive situation,the best thing to do is talk to a crisis counselor and get out of the situation for the well being of mother and child.If that is not a choice that can be made then place the child in a caring home where they will not be abused and neglected.

If you have a heart, you'd do the right thing and adopt to a family in need. Someone who has been trying to have a baby for years and is waiting for someone like you to make their Life Long dream come true.
